Thank you for joining me again this month. As always, I trust that you'll find this issue informative, interesting and of value.
Passover and Easter have come and gone, but winter seems to persist. Although the forcast for the week of the 9th is looking to be a bit warmer. So much for those pesky groundhogs, Wiarton Willy and Punxsutawney Phil and their predictions!
Data Recovery Success
One of my clients had a system that suffered a hard drive failure during March. Yikes! We had set them up with On-Line Backup through Storage Guardian. After evaluating the system, replacing the drive and installing their Windows Operating System, we connected to the the Backup Server and restored the data. This took a couple of hours to fine-tune things and they were back up and running with just a minor loss of data; that being the work that was done on the day of the failure (no backup had been done yet).
Moral of the Story... Backup does work and it does save you both time and money!

Windows Server 2003 Small Business Edition, and why you might need one...
There are a few reasons why you might want to consider a server. Firstly, you want to share data files and secondly data security. Another compelling reason is taking advantage of the full capability of Microsoft Exchange.
Would giving others the ability to view your calendar provide greater efficiency for you? How about getting your mail instantaneously? Or having your assistant check your mail? Ever wondered how to set up an "Out of Office" message and?
If the above tickled your fancy, you might want to have us come into your business and talk more about the benefits.
Spot the Typo? Win a Prize (a standing offer)...
Yes... I do make typographical errors from time to time (who would have guessed)? Mainly because I'm a lousy proofreader of my own work. Sometimes I get the newsletter proofread - mostly not, because I leave it too late and then just want to get it out to you. Here's the deal. If you spot an error, send me an email with the details and I'll correct it on the Web Site copy and you get a mouse pad and a pen for your troubles and helping me.
In the upcoming issue... Spam Filters, the death of Floppy Drives, USB Drives and more....
